About the Journal
JKMP (Jurnal Kebijakan dan Manajemen Publik) is dedicated to facilitating scholars, researchers, and teachers in publishing original research articles and review articles in the fields of public policy and public management. The journal serves as a platform for disseminating significant findings, insights, and advancements that contribute to the understanding and development of public administration and governance. Covering a wide range of topics, including public policy analysis, public management practices, public service delivery, governance structures, community empowerment, and e-government initiatives, JKMP aims to bridge the gap between theory and practice. By encouraging interdisciplinary research and providing valuable insights and practical applications, JKMP seeks to inform and influence policymakers, public managers, and researchers, ultimately contributing to the betterment of society.

Volume 13 No. 2 of the Journal of Public Policy and Management (JKMP), released in October 2025, explores the dynamics of contemporary public policy in Indonesia through the lens of actual regulatory implementation. This edition includes an in-depth discussion of the Implementation of Minister of Transportation Regulation No. 24 of 2021 for service improvement at Purabaya Terminal, which uncovers challenges and innovations in public transportation governance, and the Implementation of the Teacher Competency Strengthening Policy through Continuous Competency Development (PKB) based on East Java Gubernatorial Regulation No. 38/2024 in Surabaya, which highlights sustainable education reform. With contributions from researchers from various universities across Indonesia, this publication not only enriches academic discourse through applicable empirical findings but also inspires government practitioners to adopt evidence-based solutions to address issues of the circular economy, environmental management, and more inclusive public services in the research area or even throughout Indonesia.
