https://jkmp.umsida.ac.id/index.php/jkmp/article/view/1781

Traffic congestion in the school environment, especially during school departure and return hours, is a significant problem. This study aims to identify the causes of traffic congestion and evaluate strategies that can be applied in overcoming these problems. The research method used is descriptive with a qualitative approach, using observation, interviews, and documentation as data collection techniques. SWOT analysis was conducted to assess the internal and external factors of the applied strategy. The results showed that congestion is caused by various factors, including student shuttle activities, indiscriminate vehicle parking, limited parking lots, crossing the road, and street vendors selling around the school. The Transportation Agency's efforts include traffic regulation by officers in the field and appeals to schools and parents. However, there are weaknesses in terms of limited human resources and traffic infrastructure. The conclusion of this study is the need to optimize existing strategies, including additional personnel, provision of “kiss and ride” parking facilities, and procurement of more adequate traffic signs. In addition, enforcement of traffic rules and socialization to the community need to be improved in order to maintain smooth traffic flow and improve safety around schools.
Bella Saphira, Riamona Sadelman Tulis, Ferry Setiawan, Katriani Puspita Ayu, Marvy F.A. https://jkmp.umsida.ac.id/index.php/jkmp/article/view/1771

Rapid population growth is an important problem for developing countries like Indonesia. The large population must be managed appropriately to minimize inequality that occurs in society, one of which is where they live. A house is one of the most needed fixed assets in the lives of Indonesian people. Homeownership that reaches all elements of society can reduce the poverty gap. Poverty is the main factor for people in owning a house. Apart from that, there are inflation and BI rate factors that influence people's ability to own a house. Inflation is a trigger for the purchasing power of low-income people to own a place to live. The BI rate is an important factor in determining mortgage interest rates so it has an impact on the purchasing power of low-income people. The higher the BI Rate is inversely proportional to people's ability to own a private residence. It is hoped that the fixed interest rate regulated by the government will be able to meet people's needs in buying houses and increase the purchasing power of low-income people.
Achmad Hasan Hafidzi, Ibna Kamilia Fiel Afroh

https://jkmp.umsida.ac.id/index.php/jkmp/article/view/1788

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach in managing Romokalisari Adventure Land, a natural tourist destination operated by low-income communities (MBR) in Surabaya City. A qualitative method was employed, with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings indicate that while the Asset-Based principle has been effectively applied through the empowerment of Paguyuban ALR in managing tickets and micro-business stalls, challenges such as workforce retention and income disparities between micro-business operators and attractions remain significant barriers. The application of the Internally Focused principle allows communities to manage their assets independently; however, economic inequalities and unresponsive ticket pricing policies negatively impact community welfare. Furthermore, the relationship between the Department of Food Security and Agriculture (DKPP) and Paguyuban ALR has not been optimal in strategic decision-making. The main findings suggest that the success of the ABCD approach heavily relies on enhanced communication, clear SOP formulation, and ongoing training support
Afifah Dina Fatin, M. https://jkmp.umsida.ac.id/index.php/jkmp/article/view/1787

This article analyzes the effect of E-Government on employee productivity and performance at the Surabaya City Office of Women's Empowerment, Child Protection, and Family Planning (DP3APPKB). In the growing digital era, the implementation of E-Government is important to improve the efficiency of public services. This study involved 30 employees and used quantitative analysis with linear regression. The results show that E-Government contributes significantly to productivity with a value of 48.4 persen, but its impact on employee performance is only 20.4 persen. This finding indicates that there are other factors that affect performance. This article recommends improving infrastructure and digital literacy among employees to maximize the benefits of E-Government, so that it can serve as a guide for other government agencies in more effective implementation.
Yenny Lukman, Faris Muslihul Amin, Khalid, Ivan Gunawan

https://jkmp.umsida.ac.id/index.php/jkmp/article/view/1791

The increase in Indonesian rice imports in 2023 reflects a shortage in the supply of rice food. The irony is that Indonesia is an agricultural country that wants to be self-sufficient in food. To achieve this, good synergy is needed between the Central Government and Regional Governments, including the Sidoarjo Regency Government. This research aims to evaluate the food security program implemented in Sidoarjo Regency, with a focus on the availability of rice and obstacles in meeting food needs. The method used is qualitative research with a library research approach, which involves collecting data through observation and documentation. The research results show that the availability of rice in Sidoarjo Regency will fluctuate from 2018 to 2024, with total rice production reaching 195,855 tons of GKG in 2023. Even though there is a rice surplus of 117,451 tons, challenges such as land conversion and unfavorable weather conditions remain obstacles in increasing agricultural productivity. The conclusions of this research emphasize the need for integrated policies and community support to increase rice food security in Sidoarjo Regency, as well as the importance of ongoing evaluation of existing programs to ensure the sustainability of food supplies in the future.
Eni Rustianingsih
